The OpenABM Consortium is growing into the CoMSES Network, an NSF supported community of researchers, educators, and professionals with a common goal of improving the way we develop, share, and utilize computational models in the social and life sciences. The OpenABM site includes a growing collection of tutorials on computational modeling, frequently asked questions about computational modeling, a modeling library intended to provide a locus for authors and modelers to share their models, and forums for modeling related discussion and job postings.

With NSF support, the resources available through the CoMSES and the OpenABM site will continue to expand in the near future with the addition of data sets for model testing and development, access to resources for computationally-intensive modeling, new ways to build and maintain collaborative research, and an online journal dedicated to computational modeling.
