The workshop scope includes, but is not limited to, the following topical areas in self-organizing systems:

Building on the success of its predecessors, this workshop aims at bringing together leading international researchers to create a visionary forum for discussing the future of self-organization in networked systems. To make IWSOS 2012 a success, we invite the submission of full or short manuscripts that present original research results or research ideas on the theme of self-organizing systems.
